Volunteer
LDTR is a non profit incorporated entity with a growing number of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers.
Volunteers give their time to various roles including:
- being on the committee
- administration roles
- helping at events
- helping with fundraising
- being ride leaders at social rides
- trail maintenance and repairs
We put callouts for volunteers at events in our private Facebook group or you can offer your assistance by emailing secretary@lysterfieldmtb.com
Anyone who volunteers with LDTR is required to have a current and valid Working with children's check and follow our Child Safe Policy.
Volunteers are the reason that our club is productive and successful!
Trail Maintenance Volunteer
We have monthly trail maintenance sessions to repair and fix the trails. We are reviewing the structure of these sessions for 2022 and hope to be able to give some more information soon.

All trail maintenance volunteers will need to register with Parks Connect, the Parks Victoria volunteers portal. There is also a Volunteering in Parks manual which helps you become familiar with how volunteering works at Lysterfield.
There is no age limit to attend trail maintenance sessions, however, under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
