LDTR Women’s Social Ride Feb 26th – Lysterfield We are delighted to offer our first LDTR Women’s Social Ride led by our long-time club member and very experienced rider Helen. This is the first Women’s Social Ride we have coordinated and we would encourage all girls to come along and join us for a very relaxed, very social ride around Lysterfield. Unofficial Trails/Building Not Accepted in Lysterfield Park

LDTR have been informed by Parks Victoria that they have recently removed an unofficial mountain bike trail within the park. LDTR would like to remind park users that unofficial trails/building is not tolerated in Lysterfield Park. These types of trails only take up ours and Parks Victoria's time and resources. The standard that these trails are made to is not satisfactory and can cause serious harm to other park visitors. If you are interested in trail building, please attend the club's official trail builds. We need to take care of what we have already and the more who help, the quicker this can be completed. Ride with Caution on Dog Pound Trail

A reminder that Dog Pound Trail (Track 17) has piles of soil on some areas of the track. Please ride with caution when riding this track between now and Saturday morning. This trail will also be closed from 8am to 1pm approx on Saturday due to our build.

You Yangs Social Ride - February 4th

The February 2017 LDTR Social Ride - You Yangs When: Saturday 4th February Time: 7:45am for a 8:00am ride out. Where: You Yangs MTB Park. Dog Pound Trail Closed Saturday 21st Jan

Please note that DOG POUND Trail (Track 17) will be closed this Saturday the 21st January from 8am to 1pm (approx) due to our trail build. As this is a one way, fast descent trail, we do not want any riders on track while we are working on it for the safety of all our volunteers. Very clear signage and tape will be across the start of the trail. A detour map is shown for those still wanting to ride to Middle/Humping Hound intersection. There are no excuses for ignoring/not seeing the closure. Thanks in advance.

Trail Build Day - Dog Pound Trail

First build for 2017! Attend the build to receive good fortune for the rest of your rides throughout the year Trail Build/Maintenance Day DATE & TIME: 8:00am, Saturday 21st January 2017 MEETING: Parks Vic Depot (Just above Skills Park) WORKS: We will be working on Dog Pound Trail (the one way descent trail) replacing a log drop with rock, improving a jump, narrowing the trail with a lot of mulch, improving drainage the whole way down and also improving the corner which has turned into a sand pit. All levels of rider are welcome. if it's your first time, or you think your fitness isn't as good as you'd like, just let one of the crew in an LDTR jersey know at the start, and we'll look after you. January Family/Beginner Social Ride Day

The January 2017 LDTR Family Social Ride & free BBQ: Lysterfield MTB park When: Sunday 15th January @ 9:00am. Where: Meet the Lysty visitors centre (Formerly the Trailmix store) Technical Rating: Beginner Fitness Rating: Beginner, ride will be about 7km's and should be a bit over 1 hours ride time. Cost: FREE Ride Details: The ride will mostly be around the Lake Circuit track, with some easy single track sections. This is a FAMILY SOCIAL ride, not a smash fest. We'll ride as fast as the slowest person. Open to club and non club members. This is an ideal ride for those just starting out in MTB or those with kids. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult on the ride. After
