We look forward to what 2017 has to bring! From everyone at LDTR,
Cheers! P.S. Apologies for the average audio.
We are extremely honoured to be the Parks Victoria 2016 Kookaburra Award winner for Improving Health Benefits! This award recognises all the hard work that LDTR volunteers have put into the park over many years and also shows the strong relationship we have been able to build with Parks Victoria. We are proud to have such a strong relationship with Parks Victoria and also to be a positive representation for other mountain bike clubs and their land managers around Australia. The club greatly appreciates all the effort Parks Victoria have made to help make the club and mountain biking at Lysterfield Park what it is today and look forward to bigger and greater projects in the future with Parks
All trails are now open thanks to Parks Victoria and their hard working crew. Our trail conditions page has been updated: http://www.lysterfieldmtb.com/trail-conditions Parks Victoria's conditions page should be updated soon. Thanks for your patience. We hope you enjoy the safe, dusty and flowy trails over the festive season!
Massive thanks to all the 16 volunteers who gave up their riding time to help out on the trail build today. Without volunteers, the club and the trails cannot survive. What we did this build:
•Rebuilt a majority of the berms towards the end of Upper Buckle trail.
• Removed overgrown shrubs and bushes on Hug trail and the State MTB Course which were blocking lines of sight.
•Added some rollers.
•Cleared a lot of leaf litter.
NINETY RIDERS raced in our last FFLL for 2016. A great mountain bike event which saw many families, kids, friends, keen racers and gnarly shredders ride the State Mountain Bike Course, Aneurysm and Redgum. We hope you enjoy these pictures. A MASSIVE thanks to Life of Bikes for supplying the prizes for all the rounds this year. To the Narre Warren North Scouts for cooking a great BBQ each round and for their support and involvement in helping the club. Thanks to the DJ who played some rad tunes throughout the Park for this race. We loved hearing the music out on the trails! Also a big thanks to the scout volunteers and LDTR volunteers who help set up each race.
Without volunteers, these race
